14 Manaal-Cooking/Baking

Hi, my name is Manaal and I will tell you a bit about myself. I like the colors red and green but purple is my favourite. I love eating chips, candies and other junk food. I like watching cricket but I don't like playing it.I like studying Maths when I can understand it otherwise I don't like it. I love the movie "Gladiator". I am really interested in cooking and baking because I think it is really fun to learn and cook different types of food. It is fun but it is not so easy.

#32. Lemonade

Here are the ingredients:

  • 1 3/4 cups white sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups lemon juice
  • 8 cups water

In a small saucepan,combine sugar and one cup of water. Bring to boil and stir to dissolve sugar.Allow to cool to room temperature, then cover and refrigerate until chilled. Remove seeds from lemon juice but leave pulp. In pitcher stir together chilled syrup,lemon juice and remaining 7 cups of water.

Here are the ingredients:
  • 3 cup frozen peas
  • 1 small shallot
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 cup  cheese
  • 1 garlic roasted
  • 3 cup olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 and a half tablespoon black pepper
  • 1 baguette

Here is a list of food we should eat:
  • fruits and veggies
  • legumes( a plant or crop)
  • Kale( type of vegetable salad thing)
  • Salmon
  • Nuts
  • Pumpkins

Nuts are healthy as they contain calories. Legumes contain protein and fiber.

#29.Salad

There are many different ways to make salad. These are the things you will need to make the salad I'm telling you:
  • 2 cups cooked black beans
  • 2 cups cooked chickpeas
  • 2 tomatoes chopped
  • 1 red pepper chopped
  • 2 green onions chopped
  • 1 avocado peeled and chopped
  • 1 tablespoon lime rind
  • 1\4 cup of lime juice
  • 1\4 cup olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • jalapeno pepper chopped

Place chickpeas, black beans, red pepper, tomatoes, onions, avocado in a bowl. Then whisk dressing ingredients together in a another bowl mix all these things together. Then finally refrigerate for one hour before eating.

Here is the recipe for lasagne:
  • 1 pond sausage
  • 2 pound beef
  • 1\2 cup onion
  • 2 garlics crushed
  • 1 can crushed tomatoes
  • 1\2 can tomato paste
  • 1\2 cup of water
  • 2 tablespoons white sugar
  • 1 1\2 teaspoons dried basil leaves
  • 1\2 teaspoons funnel seeds
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1\4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 4 tablespoons chopped parsley
  • 16 ounces cheese
  • 3\4 pond mozzarella cheese
  • 3\4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 12 lasagne noodles

#27.Blueberry Cake

These are the following things you will need to make this cake:
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 1 cup + 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 stick butter melted
  • 3\4 cups of flour
  • 2 cups of milk
  • 2 tbsp vanilla extract
  • freeze-dried blueberries
First put the eggs white in one bowl. In another bowl add eggs yolks and mix it with  sugar, water and vanilla to it until it is pale and then add melted butter and continue beating for a minute. Place finely crumbed dehydrated blueberries and flour in the mixture and keep on mixing for 4 minutes. Add lukewarm milk then gently add the eggs whites adding a spatula. Pour the mixture into a pan and bake at 325 for about 25 minutes. Then you can serve it.



#26.Junk Food

 So in today's life people really don't care about their health I mean that they eat to much of junk food. They have no idea what junk food can do, it can do the following things:
1. People with heart problems should not eat junk food because it could increase their blood pressure.
2.It may lead to weight gain.
3.This junk food increases chances of you developing cavities.
4.It may cause gastrointestinal problems. It relates to the problems in the stomach.

As you can see it is not good for us cause it leads us straight into so many unhealthy problems. WE should avoid eating junk food and try to tell others to eat less too.


#25.CHINESE (FOOD)

Well everyone knows about Chinese. It is a really good dish and everyone makes it differently so here are the things you will need
  • rice
  • 2 tablespoons of salt
  • 2 tablespoons of soya sauce
  • capsicums
  • onions
  • mushrooms
  • broccoli and other vegetables that depend on you
  • corn flour
  • chicken

So first boil the rice and put it aside then take all the vegetables and cut them into little pieces and fry them then put this aside too. After that take some corn flour and boil it in water until it is thick and after this take the chicken fry it and fry all these things together. While you are frying it put in the salt and soya sauce and frying it until 15 minutes and there you go you have your Chinese.


#24.Diabeties

Diabeties is a group of metabolic diseases in which a person has high blood pressure. Well if you have you have diabeties you can eat the following things:1. you can eat blueberries, they are packed with dieatry fibre and vitamin C. 2.Beans  are a great alternative, they are high in fibre and protein. 3. Fish is really healthy, some studies have found that it can reduce the risks for blood clots. 4. Brocolli is a really good thing to eat.  As you can see even if people have diabeties that doesn't mean they can't eat anything these are a few things but there many other healthy food too.


#23.Omelette

so you will need the following things to cook this:
  • 2-4 eggs
  • butter
  • chesse shredded
  • chicken
  • peppers, tomatoes, onions, 
then you just start mixing all these things in a pan with the eggs for 10-15 minutes.
